STEPS to Older Adult Exercise Certificate Course @ Notre Dame Building

STEPS to Older Adult Exercise Certificate Course
This national certificate course will provide the exercise leader with physical fitness and gerontological theory. The leader will learn techniques to aid in the training of their older adult participants to restore and improve their functionality. The leaders’ goal is to enable the older adult to maintain their independence and quality of life through exercise. Instruction in designing exercises programs and providing physical evaluation for the older adult is included.

Foundational class for exercise leaders wishing to create and lead basic safe and consistent exercise programs. A resource manual, DVD, and certificate presented upon completion of assignment are included.
