Screening & Fitness Assessments

Our screening interview, questionnaires and assessments help us design safe, effective and appropriate exercise programs.  The results are the stepping stones for both the professional trainer and the client. We use the fitness tools that are appropriate for all ages and abilities.

Every STEPS program offers health screening and assessments to help your trainer provide you with the best personal exercise program.  Both you and your trainer benefit when mutual goals and interests are established. It motivates you both to work towards common goals.

Initial screening and fitness assessments are included in all our programs but we encourage all our clients to pursue additional assessments at a minimum of every 6 months to annually.  This helps your Trainer track your progress and ensures that if health changes arise, your program can be altered for your benefit.
