The Better Balance Program

Balance starts to decline when we are in our forties!

Current studies show that the more active you are, the better your balance is likely to be!

By popular demand STEPS is bringing back The Better Balance Program.

This program focuses specifically on improving your balance, posture, lower body strength and confidence.  This program is available for small groups at your facility, in the STEPS Studio or in our large class space.  Participants use stability balls, resistance bands and various apparatus and are encouraged to walk and work on their gait.  All of the exercises are designed to challenge your balance and coordination.

This program is overseen by Kinesiologist, Sandra Sheffield-Young (the Professional Creator of the SAM STEPS To Exercise Programs) and carried out by her team of Qualified Trainers.

To participate, STEPS requires a completed Health History Questionnaire, an Informed Consent Form, a signed Physician’s Consent and participation in a Balance Assessment.
